SwitchYard - Setting header inside bean

Just wanted to get some assistance on this.

I am trying to add header to a message from within a SY Bean. I want this header to stay till the life cycle of a message only.

I am trying to achieve this by saying context.setProperty("property",Scope.MESSAGE)

For some reasons when I do this and try to fetch the message in the next bean in the chain, I get a null value for this property. Am I doing something wrong here?

Any help would be pricey!

Keith, may be anyone of your team have this already fixed with a pull request? It could be nice to check code out, backport it to 1.0 and use in our project

No PR yet, but if you register as a watcher on the JIRA you'll be notified when the PR is submitted. :-) This will be fixed for 1.1 for sure.

I see you are watching the JIRA, but just in case you didn't get notified, this is the commit which introduced support for setting context properties on references:

In a nutshell, you use ReferenceInvoker instead of the service interface at the injection site. ReferenceInvoker creates instances of ReferenceInvocation which provides access to the context and message references on the underlying exchange.

If you see a hole there, please let us know.
