Questions reagarding SAP-Netweaver connector in Teiid

Hi,

I have started exploring the SAP-Netweaver connector in Teiid embedded. It'll be helpful if anyone can provide a heads up on a few questions I had;

1) Is there support for accessing objects using SAP BAPI (Business Application Programming Interface)?

2) Does the teiid connector use/expose IDoc for data transfer? (http://searchsap.techtarget.com/definition/IDoc)

Hi Pranav,

The connector in Teiid is actually for SAP NW Gateway, SAP's OData server. The only way to access BAPI directly from JBoss is via the JCo Camel component. See https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_JBoss_Fuse/6.1/html/Apache_Camel_Component_Reference/files/SAP.htm…

IDoc support is also in the works for this component, but not available in Fuse 6.1.

We have talked about integrating this Camel component with DV, but are still in the discussion phase.
