    Set database version on underlying connection

      In [TEIID-3937] Multiplying two columns in CASE statement overrides pushdown (Impala) - JBoss Issue Tracker, Steven noted that I can "manually set the databaseVersion property on the translator". I see how to do that for a Teiid connection and how to do it through java, also for a Teiid connection.  How do I set the database version for an underlying data source?  In my case it's Impala, but it's regular jdbc.

      We use datasource in standalone-teiid.xml like this:

                      <datasource jndi-name="java:/myjndiname" pool-name="somepool" enabled="true" use-ccm="true">

                          <connection-url>jdbc:impala://myserver:myport;AuthMech=0</connection-url>

                          <driver>com.cloudera.impala</driver>

                      </datasource>

      We use Eclipse to make our VDBs.
