i'm new of this big and pretty community and i'm just developing an application which uses JBoss EAP as application platform. As you can read from the topic, my big problem is integrate Solr with JBoss in order to use the powerful features of this searching platform. I've searched online and i found some topics about integration of Solr with JBoss AS but this is not my case. I found also some tutorial which uses Teiid as VDBs manager in order to connect to Solr system. My question is: there is a way to deploy Solr platform directly on JBoss EAP without Teiid? If not, there is a way (plugin or something like that) which enables Teiid to expose RESTful API insted of SOAP one? thanks in advice for any help.
