I would like to encrypt the admin console password kept in property file and find it can leverage JBoss digest authentication solution (Steps to Encrypt the Jboss admin-console password).

However, I would like to know if we can leverage symmetric encryption algorithm like AES256 to encrypt the password in properties file.
