1. Re: User limited access based on various matrix
shawkins Nov 8, 2016 10:29 AM (in response to sanjay_chaturvedi)There is no built-in logic based upon country/origin. On solution is that if you are able to map country/origin to an enterprise role, then you could map that to appropriate Teiid data roles. That would allow simple predicates like "hasRole('US-user')" that could be use in row based filtering, or directly in a transformation/procedure.

Could you please suggest me some good links to understand implementing kerberos authentication on DV layer.
Along with that if there is some good example on connecting Hadoop from DV.
Thanks.

The Teiid documentation is at Kerberos support through GSSAPI - Teiid 8.12 - Project Documentation Editor and you can use the EAP documentation - Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 6.4 How to Setup SSO with Kerberos - Red Hat Customer Portal

An older reference is here - Connect to a Hadoop Source using Hive2. Later Hive versions are supported, but I don't see a more up-to-date document on that. We'll need to add something.
Once you have the data source setup, are you looking for Kerberos delegation for authentication?
