Active-Active Vs Active-Passive Configuration in Teiid Cluster

    flora_dim

I have set up a two node Teiid cluster in domain configuration. (Teiid 9.2.2 and WildFly 10.0)

      1. Does starting Teiid in domain mode automatically configure the cluster in active-active mode?

      2. Are there additional configurations I need to do to guarantee high availability in active-active mode, in addition to integrating a load-balancer to this setup?

      3. How to start the cluster in active-passive configuration? Is this a function of the load-balancer and does not involve changing Teiid configurations?

      4. Which of these two configurations ( active-active vs active-passive ) is recommended for a Teiid ecosystem ?

I would appreciate if you could provide me with some brief explanation.

      Thank you.
