BeanIOItemWriter writeMode not configurable

Hi,

i'm wondering why the writeMode of the BeanIOItemWriter is hardcoded to 'overwrite'.

I was trying to get some output written to a single file in multiple steps with the BeanIOWriter and it only overwrites output from previous calls.

Am i overlooking something or could the writeMode for the BeanIOItemWriter simply made configurable by adding the appropriate BatchProperty, like i.e. the CsvItemWriter.

It appears reasonable to support this configuratio in BeanIO item writer. I couldn't think of why it was not there. It could just be when we added writeMode to CsvItemWriter, we just forgot to add it to BeanIO writer. Please file a feature request in JIRA (Issue Navigator - JBoss Issue Tracker )

I filed the Issue [JBERET-486] Extend BeanIOWriter to support different writeMode configurations - JBoss Issue Tracker
