problem with importing views from a different schema

I'm logging in using schema "XYZ" to Oracle and importing a view from "XYZ1" schema which XYZ has access to. I did this using designer. I get an error while querying the view saying "Table or View does not exist.".

However I saw the indexe files are populated correctly with all column information. If it is a TABLE object instead of a VIEW, it's working fine.

I have noticed that internally designer is running the query like this:
select * from <view_name>

It should have been "select * from XYZ1.<view_name>"

As the logged in schema is different from the view owner, Teiid has to prefix the view with the owner.

There should be an option on import to fully qualify the name in source property. That should use the schema name in the source query.

Thanks Steve. Yes, We can use the property to use the full name of the entity. The other way is, We created a synonym for the view and imported the synonym. It worked that way too.
