juha Sep 3, 2002 8:34 AM (in response to luigifonti)It is more than likely that your Tomcat is answering requests on port 8080, not 8082 (which is the JMX management port).
To answer your question, yes tomcat can service static HTML pages, JSP pages and servlets as well.
