Can't you configure Copernic to not index the C:\Proyectos\TOOLS\jboss-4.2.1.GA\ directory?
Usually I have the issue with virus scanners having the files/directories open. But from what I can recall those problems went away when I moved to Win 7. Or maybe the virus scanner got smarter...
Yes, I did configure Copernic not to index jboss directory, but it didn't solve the issue. It's strange, but it's what I found.
I have uninstalled Copernic. Luckily, it seems the search included in Windows 7 covers my needs.
Belatedly I just wanted to second this post.
Having moved onto Windows 7 I was also getting random problems starting both JBoss 4.0.5 and JBoss 4.2 due to Access Denied issues.
I also use Copernic and even though its not monitoring the JBoss directories in question it still seems to be the cause of these issues. i.e. Stop Copernic entirely and you don't have the problems on start-up.
