Success with mod_cluster

Howdy guys, great work with mod_cluster. I was able to get it fired up in a multicast-free environment with no problems.

I built the modules individually and installed them into Fedora's own httpd with success (no patching necessary). My VMWare environment doesn't do mcast, so I worked with the proxyList, which is fine by me.

As I'm apt to do when I get stuff working, I blogged about it. Please feel free to correct any misstatements or provide any clarifications you think are warranted.

Hi all,

Same as Bob - I have too a small success with bringing mod_cluster running. My configuration is as follows: 2 x JBoss AS 5.0.0.GA, 2 x Apache shipped in package with mod_cluster, all in an VMware environment (yes, without multicast) in non-clustered mode. I have two load balancers configured with Linux-HA (Heartbeat) and everything works really good!
