1. Re: Custom Login Module using UsernamePasswordLoginModule
ant Mar 30, 2004 2:02 AM (in response to sanjuthomas)Include the class file in your ear file and deploy it. If you want to use this loginmodule with more than one ear file then it must be sufficient to packeage the class file into a separate jar and put it in the classpath.

2. Re: Custom Login Module using UsernamePasswordLoginModule
sanjuthomas Mar 30, 2004 4:37 AM (in response to sanjuthomas)i have told you that ,we have written the security class , so whenever a client is requesting for an EJB this security class should be invoked to validate username and password, we have number of EJBs , so we cant put this class with all EJBs, so we need an independent implementaion, on the same time the class should be used for all the client too, thank you for your previous answer if you understtod my problem please help me,
thanking you -
3. Re: Custom Login Module using UsernamePasswordLoginModule
tang Mar 30, 2004 7:47 AM (in response to sanjuthomas)On the server side, you just have to put your classes in a jar (only the classes in the jar) and put it in the $JBOSS_HOME/server/default/lib folder. Then just configure your ejb using the jboss.xml and web.xml files and configure the server using the login-config.xml. The access to ejb is now secured.
On the client side, just use the ClientLoginModule, it will use the right LoginModule when you will try to access an ejb.
I hope I have understood your problem. -

starksm64 Mar 31, 2004 9:27 AM (in response to sanjuthomas)The client discussed in the section 'Test the tutorial1.ear deployment from Java Client' is a very simple example. If that is not adequate you are out of luck.
