1. Re: JBoss2.4.4_Tomcat-4.0.1 final + Apache integration
tclouser Jan 4, 2002 10:04 PM (in response to jtwomey)From what I have been able to piece together from this forum and the mail archive at Apache, mod_webapp will not work with Jboss2.4.4_Tomcat4.0.1. According to the base docs (a bargain at 9.99), you should be able to use mod_jk, but as a number of postings have stated, this does not seem to work either.
Best advice, drop back to Jboss2.4.4_tomcat3.2.3 bundle and use mod_jk.

jtwomey Jan 5, 2002 12:46 PM (in response to jtwomey)Yes, dropping back was my next course of action. This post is just a hopeful last ditch effort:). Tomcat 4 seems to be a little faster.
Thanx,

3. Re: JBoss2.4.4_Tomcat-4.0.1 final + Apache integration
jtwomey Jan 9, 2002 1:23 PM (in response to jtwomey)I was able to get Apache working with Jboss-2.4.4 + Tomcat-4.0.1 using mod_jk.
I found the answer here:http://www.jboss.org/modules/bb/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=forums/ use mod_jk like you would with Tomcat 3.2.3 (see the Tomcat docs for details - not jboss docs)
then per the above thread the code in your jboss.jcml should be:
Not as per jboss docs:
The trick is in the config attribute.
