1. Re: Cocoon 2.0.3 & Jboss-3.0.1-Tomcat-4.0.4 still broken
jules Aug 14, 2002 8:42 AM (in response to robparrott)Please qualify exactly what you mean by :
"Note that Cocoon does work in a limited way with JBoss-3.0.1+Jetty"....
If Cocoon complies with Servlet 2.3, it should run in Jetty. I ran up the latest Cocoon (2.0.3) on JBoss 3.0.1 and ran through the demo app - I found no problems.
No, Cocoon SHOULD NOT require Tomcat - but any compliant servlet container (if properly written).
If there are problems running Cocoon 2.0.3 with JBoss 3.0.1 then I would like to hear about them, so that they can be fixed.
Thanks for your time,

robparrott Aug 18, 2002 2:12 PM (in response to robparrott)Well, perhaps I was wrong about Cocoon/Jetty combination; I'll look into it further. I just did a cursory test.
However, with Catalina, it is still broken. Please refer to the link in the first post under this subject, and the fix alluded to by Iris there for this problem.

juha Aug 18, 2002 10:51 PM (in response to robparrott)Well did you file a bug report on it on Sourceforge? Nobody scans forums for bug reports or patches..
