juha Aug 19, 2002 3:15 PM (in response to glide)You must use jEdit to write all JMX code. Other IDE's are not allowed.

glide Aug 19, 2002 4:19 PM (in response to glide)Thanks, Juha. The reason I ask is that I am wading through JMX - Managing J2EE with Java Management Extensions. The examples were all working well from within the Forte IDE until this morning. I'll switch over to JEdit and see how that goes.

juha Aug 19, 2002 7:13 PM (in response to glide)Hello Mike,
Yes I was just kidding, you can use any IDE or editor you wish. I myself use jEdit, and like it, but your mileage may vary.
Good luck on choosing the IDE though :)
