1. Re: what are the minimum deployment descriptors
m1609 Apr 7, 2004 4:50 AM (in response to jonasj)You need the JBoss DD:
/META-INF/jboss.xml
Example:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE jboss PUBLIC "-//JBoss//DTD JBOSS 3.2//EN" "http://www.jboss.org/j2ee/dtd/jboss_3_2.dtd"> <jboss> <enterprise-beans> <session> <ejb-name>HelloWorld</ejb-name> <jndi-name>ejb/HelloWorld</jndi-name> </session> </enterprise-beans> </jboss>
The ejb-name in jboss.xml must match your ejb-name in ejb-jar.xml. -
2. Re: what are the minimum deployment descriptors
adrian.brock Apr 7, 2004 4:58 AM (in response to jonasj)You only need a jboss.xml when you want to change from the default
configurations. e.g. in your example changing the jndi binding.
What you do need to do is rename your directory to hworld.jar so that JBoss knows you
are faking a jar. -
3. Re: what are the minimum deployment descriptors
jonasj Apr 7, 2004 5:42 AM (in response to jonasj)That works! All I had to do is to change the folder name to hworld.jar
