1. Re: mvn clean deletes target/eclipse-classes
pgier Jun 1, 2007 7:13 PM (in response to kabirkhan)The clean plugin currently allows you to delete extra directories (besides the default target directory) but not keep certain directories. I think it would be pretty simple to add this option to the clean plugin, or we can just change the eclipse build path to something outside of target.

kconner Jun 2, 2007 5:23 AM (in response to kabirkhan)The eclipse-classes directory should only be referenced if you are using the eclipse profile, the default profile references target/classes instead.
Which version of maven are you running? -

kconner Jun 2, 2007 5:35 AM (in response to kabirkhan)Sorry, misread the postings :)
As Paul states, this is deleted because it is within the target directory. I'll change it to create an eclipse-target directory instead if nobody objects. -
4. Re: mvn clean deletes target/eclipse-classes
kconner Jun 5, 2007 5:08 AM (in response to kabirkhan)No objections so changes are in.
Type 'mvn eclipse:clean' followed by 'mvn -Peclipse' to update the configuration.
