a4j:status confused after opening modalPanel

With the following I open a modalPanel

Afterwards the global a4j:status which should show Ajax activity does not switch back to stop mode.


The panel is:

I cannot reproduce it.

The page is included via c:import as a tab inside a tabPanel with switchmode ajax.

This happens only if the page is inside a tab in a tabPanel with switchtype ajax. If i remove the tab/tabPanel everything works fine.

could you please define modal opening to oncomplete insetad of onclick?

Seems some problems with client side activity while request.

please check a4j:log.

modal should opens ok using oncomplete.

B.t.w You use 3.2.0 GA? SR1? or some snapshot.

It is not working with oncomplete also. i tried with oncomplete also but it response is not getting completed.
screen is getting hanged.. might be some problem with ModalPanel

It's the same with 3.2.0 GA and SR1. And the problem is only existent when the functionality is wrapped inside a tabbed panel.
So It think there is some problem with the tabbed panel.

Hi,
I can confirm it is a bug, I switched to 3.2.0 sr1 and ajax requests inside tab panels (only inside it) doesn't call the onstop event of the status.

Also if I set switchType to client it works again (so it seems to be related to ajax mode)...

Going back to 3.1.2 (the library I used in this project) made it worked again...
