Which languages are managed ?

Hello

I'm interresting to know which languages are supported by JBoss Portal. With the live demo I tried French, English and Spanish, Italian does'nt work....

I'm particulary interrested by UTF-16 language such as arabic and cyrilic. Is-it possible to use them ?

JBoss Portal 2.4 (latest CVS version and future 2.4.RC1) handles encoding gracefully. Everything is encoded/decoded in UTF8 : form parameters encoded with content type x-www-formurlencoded and query parameters. If you can give a try and feedback.

Then we havent looked yet at RTL support : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bi-directional_text.

We had no contribution for such languages and we don't have the knowledge for it.

But nothing prevent you from writing the correct resource file for it.

I haven't this knowledge too !!!

but this is more than a ressource file, because for arabian language for example, text must be writting from right to left... and panel could be arrange like this too...

Is there any news for RTL languages support?
Something like Hebrew?
for example beeing able to change from English (LTR) to Hebrew (RTL)?
