Myfaces vs Sun RI

I noticed that the JBoss Portal 2.6.2 Admin portlets are using MyFaces instead of the Sun RI packaged with the app server

Is this just because they haven't been upgraded or is there a technical reason?

I think I read somewhere that the admin portles are supposed to be upgraded using Sun RI, but that's for a future release. Hopefully someone at the JBoss team can verify that it's true..

Sun RI (with their bridge) just didn't work for us.

Hi there! What about your bridge? We are just trying the JSR-301 bridge impl from you guys? Does it work with Sun-RI?
