ccrouch Mar 21, 2007 2:47 PM (in response to starksm64)This is excellent news Scott. For the first time in a long time we had a trunk testsuite build running to completion on cruisecontrol this morning. Well done.

Is it worth trying to get other people to look at some of these test failures too?
Cheers -

anil.saldhana Mar 21, 2007 2:56 PM (in response to starksm64)java.lang.NullPointerException: at org.jboss.test.JBossTestCase.getServerHost(JBossTestCase.java:386
is a common occurrence. -

starksm64 Mar 21, 2007 2:57 PM (in response to starksm64)I will as issues fall outside of AS. Clebert is helping with the jbm integration. By Friday's status call everything should be pretty well classified and assigned.

Anytime you see this the test has overriden setUp and is not calling the super version. -

starksm64 Mar 22, 2007 12:03 AM (in response to starksm64)A rerun of the jca test is mostly passing (92%) so they seem fine.

anil.saldhana Mar 22, 2007 11:23 AM (in response to starksm64)There seems to be some host related issue on CC.
The following pattern:Could not obtain connection to any of these urls: localhost:1099 and discovery failed with error: javax.naming.CommunicationException: Failed to retrieve stub from server 127.0.0.1:1100 [Root exception is java.io.EOFException]
One example:

Do you know if QA are investigating this host related issue? -

11. Re: trunk testsuite status
brian.stansberry Mar 22, 2007 2:21 PM (in response to starksm64)The tests have localhost hard coded. That needs to be replaced with a call to getServerHost(). Otherwise it fails if the server is bound to another IP.

starksm64 Mar 22, 2007 6:05 PM (in response to starksm64)After synching up with the trunk/repository changes today, the jboss-all-config-tests is back to failing to run due to OMEs:
2007-03-22 14:07:53,513 ERROR [STDERR] java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
Bringing up jconsole shows the heap to be full with plenty of perm gen memory. Another leak has crept in. -

starksm64 Mar 22, 2007 6:23 PM (in response to starksm64)Can't say I understand what the resulting hprof memory dump is indicating. It shows 311Mb of byte[]/byte[][] instances, but claims these are root objects.
