1. Re: where does time value come from?
nbelaevski Apr 24, 2009 9:05 AM (in response to ladamovic)Hello,
Do you have timezone set using "timezone" attribute of rich:calendar? -
2. Re: where does time value come from?
ladamovic Apr 27, 2009 12:51 AM (in response to ladamovic)No. But the difference on the clocks is a day. That cannot be due to different timezones?

3. Re: where does time value come from?
nbelaevski Apr 27, 2009 1:07 AM (in response to ladamovic)Yes, this can be. The same moment can be early morning in one timezone and late evening in the other.

4. Re: where does time value come from?
ladamovic Apr 27, 2009 1:30 AM (in response to ladamovic)It does not make a difference. I can set the time on my system clock and my hardware clock several days ahead. The richfaces calendar still shows today.

5. Re: where does time value come from?
ladamovic Apr 27, 2009 1:45 AM (in response to ladamovic)To avoid ambiguities, here is an example.
date and hwclock on the linux box show:
Wed Apr 29 10:33:56 IST 2009.
richfaces calendar shows:
Mon Apr 27 10:33 -
6. Re: where does time value come from?
ladamovic Apr 27, 2009 1:50 AM (in response to ladamovic)To be even more precise:
date and hwclock on the linux box show:
Wed Apr 29 10:33:56 IST 2009.
Calendar.getInstance().getTime() shows:
Wed Apr 29 10:33:56 IST 2009.
(this is java.util.Calendar)
richfaces calendar shows:
Mon Apr 27 10:33
