You may be able to find out what's wrong by loking at the logs.

ysbbibo Dec 16, 2010 9:42 AM (in response to ysbbibo)I don't see something wrong in the logs. I use the J.D.K 1.6 and run the server by the command run.sh with the default configuration. When I started the server I see many "debug" info.
Thanks.

7. Re: Times running GateIn with Jboss
theute Dec 16, 2010 2:58 PM (in response to ysbbibo)Looks like it's taking forever to take the WSRP XSD file from the web.
Can the machine access: http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/javaee_web_services_metadata_handler_2_0.xsd ?

ysbbibo Dec 17, 2010 3:29 AM (in response to trong.tran)Trong Tran, I would try your solution but I think that the problem is to take the WSRP XSD files.
Thanks.

10. Re: Times running GateIn with Jboss
theute Dec 17, 2010 5:20 AM (in response to ysbbibo)It might be a proxy issue if you are behind a proxy.
Can you try without network connection at all ? It should fail immediately to retrieve the files. That would help to diagnosis

11. Re: Times running GateIn with Jboss
ysbbibo Dec 17, 2010 6:43 AM (in response to theute)I found the problem. It was caused by the proxy when I was trying to get the file. I downloaded the file javaee_web_services_metadata_handler_2_0.xsd and modified the wshandlers.xml in deploy/gatein.er/wsrp-producer.war, to take the file from my computer. Now the GateIn runs in 2 minutes.
Thanks a lot for the help.

12. Re: Times running GateIn with Jboss
antoine_h May 20, 2011 2:39 AM (in response to ysbbibo)Another way might be to set your proxy config in the Java options of the JVM, when starting JBoss.
The advantage is that it will work for any (futur) other needs to get files from the net.
here some samples :
for Ant : http://ant.apache.org/manual/proxy.html
same is for JBoss, set these option in the run.sh (run.bat) file, or better with the "RUN_CONF" external configuration file, so you can keep your specific config when upgrading your JBoss version etc...
Interesting info : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/120797/how-do-i-set-the-proxy-to-be-used-by-the-jvm
about " Also don't forget the
http.nonProxyHosts
property! (use like this:-Dhttp.nonProxyHosts="localhost|127.0.0.1|10.*.*.*|*.foo.com|etc"
) "to avoid that JBoss uses the proxy for the connexion that do not need it.
These options might also be set at the level of the Java start, for any java application on your machine.
Hope it helps,...
