You can add r:componentControl to any JSF component, including commandButton, commandLink, etc.

raduq Jan 24, 2011 1:36 PM (in response to raduq)My problem was not in the richfaces.hideModalPanel... i changed my rerender code in my js Function that calls Richfaces.hideModalPanel, and that resolved.
I researched a solution, and a jQuery Hide, can hide modal panels too with a little effort, but i dont tried.
