1) try to use small names for id, don't let jsf generates id for,wherever possible define the id's
2) prependid should be false
3) use seam component as a factory component so that on every rerender database request is not made, only one time records are fetched.
4) use pagination to display 10 records per page

ilya_shaikovsky Mar 17, 2011 4:08 AM (in response to bungrudi)most slowdowns caused by the header menus. if it's valid option for you could try to turn off and will see performance improved.
