How to set url param from a4j:commandLink

Hello.

In my page I have a4j:commandLink which redirects me to another page.
I wan`t to show the  a4j:commandLink id as query param in the url of the page I was redirected to (?from=).

I  tried to put f:param and a4j:param into the a4j:commandLink but nothing is shown in the url.

What more I need to ad?

Is there any other way, to do this, without changing  a4j:commandLink without changing it to  h:link?

you can do it with programatic redirection :

public void redirect(ActionEvent ae) throws IOException {

                    FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().redirect("/Rich4/faces/index.xhtml?myParam=" + ae.getComponent().getId());

          }

you can also get the context root(in my case Rich4) dynamically and in your target page you can get the parameter like this:

#{param['myParam']}
