mod_cluster only checks that the node is working it can't check application.
Hm if you really need it you can write our own metric to achieve that.

So, i found this:

That's pretty much what i need to do, right? And it can query the page they give me and react?

and i just ask the devs to maybe output their status page to an mbean?
