How to quickly deploy translators to JBoss

Hi all,

I mostly work on the development of translators for various purposes.

The problem I encounter is that I change some code in the translator, I build the jar file ,stop JBoss , copy it to JBoss and restart Jboss.

This is tedious and time consuming operation.

Is there any tool or plugin in eclipse so that I can do hot deployment of the translator without having to restart JBoss server.

How do the Teiid Development team does this task of testing the translators which they develop?

This issue has been already captured at https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIID-1371 however it has not been fixed yet. If you want take look provide us a patch, you are certainly welcome. Right now other priority bugs/features have consuming our time.

Thanks for update. You said that there is a workaround for this problem.

The workaround is restarting the JBoss server after copying the new translator jar file?
