Develop complex jBPM processes all in Guvnor?

The video (Posted by Tihomir Surdilovic) showcases an outstanding achievement, but I am not sure what component versions should be used to get these features working.

I tried starting with jbpm-5.1.0.Final-installer-full, but I replaced guvor.war with guvnor-5.3.0.Beta1-jboss-as-5.1.war and designer.war with designer-1.0.0.054-jboss.war. Now I am able to do pretty much what is shown in the video, including the automatic generation of flt forms. I can see all the assets inside Guvnor. I can see my process inside the jbpm-console, but when I try to start a new execution of my process, instead of seeing the form that captures process variables, I am getting the attached page.

From here I am stuck. I closed the page and looked for running instance, but it didn’t show any. I couldn’t find errors inside the server.log.

It might be I am using a wrong combination of installed component. Does anybody have this working currently and what component versions are you using?

What's the reason for the guvnor update? Do you need 5.3.0 for any specific reasons?

With jBPM installer 5.1 I believe you cannot use Guvnor 5.3.0. jBPM console will not be able to parse your pkg's from Guvnor. You should see exceptions in your logs when console lists the processes for the first time.

Either use the Guvnor version that ships by default in installer, or you can try Guvnor 5.2.0.Final and let us know if you still run into issues.

I think I need Guvnor 5.3.0 since there is not Work Item Definition capabilities inside Guvnor 5.2.0.

Using Guvnor 5.3.0, I didn't find exceptions in my logs when console listed the processes.

On July 14, one of the comments in your blog (http://blog.athico.com/2011/07/develop-complex-jbpm-processes-all-in.html), you said "The Guvnor Workitem Definition Editor is currently only in master on github: https://github.com/droolsjbpm/guvnor". Doesn't this mean I need to move to Guvnor 5.3.0?
