1. Re: Use another kernel
goldmann Nov 18, 2011 1:28 PM (in response to gigimon)Best bet would be to use post section to modify it (install / update grub or recompile this one).

3. Re: Use another kernel
goldmann Nov 21, 2011 10:21 AM (in response to gigimon)I'm not sure what you want to do. You can compile your own kernel, you can install another one from somewhere - there are many options what you can do. Use post section commands, like you would do it normally in bash. I cannot help you with creating the kernel itself, as this is not a BoxGrinder issue and unfortunately I have no time to deal with things like this. Hope you understand, thanks!

5. Re: Use another kernel
goldmann Nov 21, 2011 11:08 AM (in response to gigimon)We moved from selecting AWS kernels in favor to using pv-grub which allows us use the kernel provided in the image. In your case you need to wait for another CentOS kernel release with fix included, so nag CentOS developers, etc. You can also build the kernel with proper fix yourself - which should be the fairly easy.
I do not recommend to use any other AWS aki/ari combination because you'll have more issues than you have today.
