Tirkcy: How to send e:workbook excel via seam mail attachment ???

Hi,

I am using an seam <e:workbook... template to render a excel report passing my report object to that xhtml.

What I want to do now, is send this generated excel workbook as an attachment via seam email functionality <m:attachment> instead of open the excel file.

So, how can I surround my <e:workbook> template with the email&attachment functionality of seam (<m:attachment> etc.)?

I dont want develop a new excel exporter and do all the formatting in java etc. although I have the complete export and formatting functionality in my <e:workbook> template.

Could anyone help me out ?

Well, haven't tried it myself but the Workbook.encodeEnd should do pretty much what the PDF generation does, if sendRedirect is false and the parent is a valueHolder, it sticks the data there instead.

Ok, at which position do I get the workbook object to do something with the encodEnd ?

I only pass an object to the seam excel template which I hold in the scope.
A return value ("export") calls the xhtml excel template via a navigation rule and the object is accessed to fill the template.

So, I thougth I can do something like that:

     xmlns:c="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core"

</m:attachment>
...

Know what I mean ?
