1. Re: Tirkcy: How to send e:workbook excel via seam mail attachment ???
nickarls Jul 31, 2009 9:38 AM (in response to sammes.michael.zohner.commerzbank.com)Well, haven't tried it myself but the Workbook.encodeEnd should do pretty much what the PDF generation does, if sendRedirect is false and the parent is a valueHolder, it sticks the data there instead.

2. Re: Tirkcy: How to send e:workbook excel via seam mail attachment ???
sammes.michael.zohner.commerzbank.com Jul 31, 2009 9:54 AM (in response to sammes.michael.zohner.commerzbank.com)Ok, at which position do I get the workbook object to do something with the encodEnd ?
I only pass an object to the seam excel template which I hold in the scope.
A return value ("export") calls the xhtml excel template via a navigation rule and the object is accessed to fill the template.
So, I thougth I can do something like that:
...
<m:attachment fileName="test.xls">
<e:workbook
xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets"
xmlns:e="http://jboss.com/products/seam/excel"
xmlns:c="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core"
xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"
filename="test.xls"
>
...
</e:workbook>
</m:attachment>
...
Know what I mean ?
