rareddy Oct 2, 2012 11:08 AM (in response to bstora)Brad,
This is community project, most organizations and govt entities use the product version that is supported by Redhat. For details about EDS see http://www.redhat.com/products/jbossenterprisemiddleware/data-services/
Also, note Teiid is not any means a young project, we have rich history behind us with roots starting with Metamatrix, check out the history http://www.jboss.org/teiid/about/history

markaddleman Oct 2, 2012 11:23 AM (in response to bstora)I'd be happy to answer questions regarding our use of Teiid. I do want to make one, unsolicited point: The support we receive from the Teiid community is outstanding exceeding nearly every vendor with whom I've worked (commercial or open source). As a relatively minor point, we rarely wait more than a day or two for a fix to reproducible bugs. More importantly to us, the community works with us for new Teiid features to support our use cases.

bstora Oct 2, 2012 11:31 AM (in response to markaddleman)Thanks Mark and Ramesh for the quick responses! I'm new to the software, but have been testing/evaluating and am looking forward to continuing to see how we can incorporate it locally.
