1. Re: Help on a RF webapp based on the ShowCase sample design
pepelara Nov 14, 2012 10:41 AM (in response to pepelara)1 of 1 people found this helpfulI can explain the loop I was talking about.
Every time the document is ready fire the event onload() that takes the page to the location of the URL.
Now the page is loaded again and the event onload() is fired again and so on.
But it seems it can not be possible. See the thread in this forum,

2. Re: Help on a RF webapp based on the ShowCase sample design
pepelara Nov 14, 2012 11:54 AM (in response to pepelara)1 of 1 people found this helpfulWell exists a little trick to resolve this issue,
1.- Welcome file (index.jsp)
<!doctype html public "-//w3c//dtd html 4.0 transitional//en">
<html>
<head></head>
<body>
<jsp:forward page="/index.jsf" />
</body>
</html>
2.- index.xhtml file
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="0; URL=#{facesContext.externalContext.requestContextPath}/richfaces/component-sample.jsf?demo=init&skin=blueSky"/>
</head>
</html>
and this works fine!!!
