1. Re: When query a virtual table, it gives an error "Group does not exist"
shawkins May 22, 2013 6:35 AM (in response to neetacomp)Do you see your view in the metadata tree? And do you see your view if you do a "SELECT * FROM SYS.TABLES"?
If it's not present the vdb may not have been constructed the way you want.

neetacomp May 22, 2013 6:51 AM (in response to shawkins)Thanks Steve for the response.
I was able to see my view model and virtual table in Model Explorer tree ( I guess it is same as metadata tree)
I did not try "SELECT * FROM SYS.TABLES"
Now I dont see this problem any more.(I am not sure how it got resolved)
But in future if I see this problem and incase my VDB has not been constructed the way I want, then what is the solution for it?
Thanks,
Neeta

I couldn't begin to guess really. But if you have a situation where the vdb doesn't seem to match what is in your workspace, then use the Teiid Designer forum or create a Teiid Designer issue. If possible you would post with your vdb or a zip export of the entire project.
