Someone else asked a similar question here: https://community.jboss.org/message/822893#822893
I would suggest following that thread and adding you questions and comments there.

shawkins Jun 13, 2013 9:13 AM (in response to van.halbert)Neeta,
Can you clarify if you are talking about a simple scenario or mean something like a custom archive that Van is linking to?
Assuming something simple, then before deploying the VDB file, yes you want JBoss up with Teiid installed. You'll want to follow the Admin Guide for your particular version - http://www.jboss.org/teiid/docs
The other project deployment is up to you. If it's just a standalone application, then you'll export a jar file and run it with a classpath that includes the Teiid client jar. If it's a JEE project, then you'll create the appropriate WAR/EAR artifact for deployment in AS also.

3. Re: How to create deployable from eclipse teiid project
neetacomp Jun 14, 2013 12:44 AM (in response to shawkins)Thanks Steve and Van.
I am talking about simple scenario. I have created Eclipse Teiid model project and have created multi-source VDB using Teiid designer.
I want to make deployable file from it, which I can deploy on any other instance.
So please guide me on how can I create one deployable file from my teiid project and deploy to other instance.
Thanks,
Neeta

4. Re: How to create deployable from eclipse teiid project
shawkins Jun 14, 2013 8:29 AM (in response to neetacomp)I don't quite follow you then. The VDB file is the deployable artifact. Can you be more explicit about your scenario?
