Migration from Sharepoint Intranet Portal to JBoss Portal -- (Urgent)

Hi Guys,

We are considering moving our corporate intranet portal (max 500 users) hosted on Sharepoint 2010 to JBoss opensource portal paltform. I am tryign to map from Sharepoint portal to JBoss and need to conduct an assessment for its viability, costing/licensing model, technical feasibility and do-ability.

It would be great help if you can please share your experineces and provide any thoughts on this. Many thanks in advance.

Hello Shan,

This is a open question that can have long response.

Normally, our colleagues from Architect department are specialized to provide you help to make your assesment.

From a technical perspective, I think that the most key part if about the existing .NET elements and the effort to maintain or migrate to a Java environment this technology.

If you tell us in which region we can also to put some colleagues from Architect department in the loop.
