Can you guys provide data aggregation in the resourceType Level ? ? ?

Hi Developers,

   In the ResourceType summary tab, We are getting average value of all resources. I believe that you can display the aggregated value in the summary tab( At the ResoureType Level ). And also believe, For some good reasons you might displaying average values instead of total values. But For us, Aggregation is really helpful rather average values. Please help the guys like us. And also I request you to share your knowledge that why you are not supporting aggregated values.

If I understand correctly, for some resource types I can certainly see using the sum instead of the average. I think File Systems is a good example. When I click on the file systems, in the summary tab I see free space and used percentage metrics reported. I think seeing the total values there could be more useful. But then when I select Postgres Servers --> rhq --> Databases, I see size and transactions per minute. I think average makes more sense for the per-minute metrics. I am not sure if there is a good heuristic that could be applied to all metrics for all resource types. Maybe it could be configurable?

   I am using RHQ 4.7 and I am getting like the following. Resources( drive c, d , e ) providing the free space and used percentage. But at the ResourceType level, again I am seeing the average value of all the drives. Can you share me which version of RHQ you are using ? ? ?

   Please share me the code at where You guys have aggregated values of the resources in the resourceType. Please share me the code for my understanding. I would like to aggregate the values by my own. Please help me to learn, RHQ.
