No ExecutionAdmin factory registered

I'm pretty new to Teiid installation and configuration.  I'm working with Teiid Server 8.3 on JBoss AS 7.1.1.  I've done the install and I'm trying to get Teiid Designer working with it.  I created a Teiid Model project and created a working JDBC connection to an Oracle database.  When I try to create a source model, I get this error "No ExecutionAdmin factory registered for teiid server version 8.3.0.Final".  I'm not sure what I'm missing in my install or configuration.  I had tried to do the same thing with 8.4 on JBoss EAP 6.1 (except the version in the error).

Once you install the Designer, you need to configure the AS server that has Teiid with Teiid Designer. In the right hand side explorer view you will see a small "Default Teiid Server" view, make sure you have a server selected there and that server is running.

I've configured the Teiid Server both "assume it's started" and not.  When I start the server from Teiid Designer, at the very end the No ExecutionAdmin factory message shows up in the Error Log pane.  When I start the server manually and configure it, the message shows up when I click the "Start" button.
