ayusman_dikshit Sep 13, 2013 5:11 AM (in response to swiderski.maciej)Thanks.
I was of the opinion that creating knowledge builder (like creating process engine in jbpm 4) is an expensive step.
And hence should be created only once.
So what does Knowledge Builder do?
It's kind of a bit confusing :-(

salaboy21 Sep 13, 2013 5:16 AM (in response to ayusman_dikshit)1 of 1 people found this helpfulDid you check the docs? -> Chapter 5. Core Engine: API
The knowledge builder basically builds knowledge, in this case it compiles the business process definition into something that can be executed.
The knowledge base keeps all the compiled knowledge together as a repository
and the knowledge session will contain the process instances. Notice that you can have multiple knowledge sessions and kbases depending what are you trying to do and your requirements.
