I am having performance issues with reading JDBC Metadata using the Teiid JDBC Driver. The first request for the JDBC Metadata on a fresh JDBC connection can take 10-20 seconds. Subsequent JDBC requests on the same connection return the metadata almost instantly. This behavior is experienced even on a JBOSS server that has been running for some time. This performance problem causes an unfortunate lag on start up for our applications.
Is there a way to optimize the JDBC metadata on the Teiid JBoss server?
