VDB connection type(Any,none,Version_specific) are not persisted

Hi !

i have modified the connection type of VDB to ANY, however it does not remain persisted on server re-start.

And it turns to default value on server re-start.

i am using teiid 1.1  web conosle on  jboss-eap-6.1.0 with teiid 8.4.

Why is that ? i need to have it persisted so that my multi-version VDBs users could keep running against a specific version , with out specifying it in jdbc url.

Yes, I see the same behavior. Looks like some issue with persisting. Please log a JIRA issue for this here Teiid - JBoss Issue Tracker

I see in the defect , that it is now fixed in 8.4.1.

From where i can download the 8.4.1 version. and how to sepcify it now in VDB file.

Kamran,

8.4.1 is not targeted for a community release.  The fix will be in the next community version 8.6, which will have it's first alpha next week.  You can also checkout and apply the fix to the 8.5.x branch, or checkout the 8.4.x branch.
