Richfaces 4.3.4.Final together with Primefaces 4.0

Hello,

i use Richfaces 4.3.4.Final as my head web framework for a JSF 2.0 project on a JBOSS AS 7.

Now I want to add charts to my project and tried to use the Primefaces (V. 4.0)  charts, because

the usage of primefaces charts is very easy and why not combine the benefits of both frameworks ?

So, Unfortunately it seems that both frameworks have problems to work in coop.

After loading the primefaces chart and bring it to the front the richfaces components don't work any more, like buttons und

rich:dropDownMenu.

Do somebody know the problem or know any tricks to bring them to work together ?

Here is a code snipped how of my page:

Hey ameo,

in terms of interoperability, they might be collisions in both, in styling and use of jQuery and jQuery UI plugins / versions.

Just note that in RichFaces 5.0.0.Alpha2 you will see Chart components also in RichFaces, here is a preview:

We have the same problem described above. But we cannot use RichFaces 5.0.0

We are bound to a WAS8.0 Server. The JSF Implementation is fixed to Myfaces 2.0.0.2:-(

If somebody has a tutorial or other hints hiw primefaces can work together, please do not hesitate to answer.

I think you cant make them work together. there is a thread about this problem.

Thanks for your hint. It does help us. So we will not use primefaces for this specific project.
