I think those events make sense. As I mentioned above since Teiid is not using "kerberosServicePrincipleName" as user, it defaults to "anonymous", when that gets subjected to your authentication whether it is your DatabaseServerLoginModule or UserPropertiesLoginModule, the user is not found and exception is thrown.
Did you try username on URL as 'User2@CORP.CONTOSO.COM' ? this is equivalent to Teiid automatically setting from "kerberosServicePrincipleName"
You can add a JIRA for the module dependency. And separate enhancement for the for "kerberosServicePrincipleName" as user when dealing with kerberos.
