Way back in the pi4soa days that preceeded Savara, many plugins used org.pi4soa.cdl.eclipse.CDLPlugin.logError(mesg, e); for error reporting.

What is the equivalent in Savara?

I think that org.pi4soa.cdl.eclipse.CDLPlugin.logError(mesg, e) was removed as part of org.pi4soa.cdl.eclipse as I cannot find it in any of my older versions.

There is an equivalent method on the savara commons plugin: https://github.com/objectiser/savara-tools-eclipse/blob/master/plugins/org.savara.tools.common/src/main/java/org/savara/tools/common/osgi/Activator.java

However if you are writing your own plugin, then it would be better to include the method on your own plugin's Activator class.
