Limit on the number of rows returned by file translator

Hi,

I am having a text file with around 138000 rows and I was trying to retrieve all the data from the  text file.

What I noticed that only 47429 rows are returned and also the count(*) also returns the same number of rows

I am using the getTextFiles() stored procedure and the TEXTTABLE().

I am using teiid8.7

Is there a limitation on the number of rows returned by the file translator?

No.  The file translator simply returns blob or clob reference to the file.  The texttable function will then process that into rows.  Unless there is something wrong with the expectations of how it is parsing, you should see all of the rows.

Somehow I am only able to see only 47429 rows. Any pointers to debug this?

Start with the simplest case possible, just feeding the file into texttable and fully reading the results.  From there you should examine the results to see if they match up to your file in the way that you expect.
