Embedded Teiid Pure Java?

Hi all,

I'm planning on using Embedded Teiid in my product, and my management is asking me whether Teiid embedded has any platform specific dependencies.

Although I've conveyed that it sure is Pure Java and thus platform-independent, and I've also confirmed by running the Embedded Portfolio example on Solaris; I'd still like to hear from the community that Teiid has no JNI or native code inside of it for any of its capabilities including Clustering, Caching etc etc.

Yes it is pure Java.

Teiid "embedded" inherently does not provide clustering and caching, they are provided through other libraries like Infinispan and JGroups when host environment is JBoss EAP.
