How to use UDF in Teiid

Hi Team,

I created the simple java class and static function. Created a Jar and then included in the the VDB in Teiid Designer. i am exposing the VDB as We services andi have created the operations etc.. How do i make call the defined static functions inside the Virtual Procedure that implements the WS operation. ??

Ranjit,

You define a Function (right click, new child -> procedure -> udf) on your view model, then in its properties you need to define the class-name, method name etc from your java class. Note that the function parameters need to match your java method. Then use that function in your web service transformation as any other function.
