Odata url is not working without View Model Name

I have created a VDB pointing to two datasources.(table1, table2)

http://ipaddress:8080/odata/VDBName/tablename1 is giving me error : Group specified is ambiguous, resubmit the query by fully qualifying the group name :tablename AS g0.

When i am giving url as http://ipaddress:8080/odata/VDBName/ViewModelname.tablename1  then it is working fine.

Other table can be accessed without giving ViewModel name : http://ipaddress:8080/odata/VDBName/tablename2

I cannot understand this behaviour.

You can check SYS.TABLES to see all of the table names in your vdb.

You can also check how a query issued though JDBC/ODBC also behaving? Is it consistent?
